BRYCK starts cooperation with Ruhr universities to foster spin-offs

BRYCK has started a new partnership with the University Alliance Ruhr – an alliance between Ruhr University Bochum (RUB), TU Dortmund University and the University of Duisburg-Essen – representing one of the largest and best-performing academic hubs in Germany with more than 110,000 students and almost 1,300 professors.

The aim of the cooperation is to promote the transfer of knowledge and innovation at one of Europe’s densest academic regions. BRYCK’s initiator RAG-Stiftung has acted as a driving force behind the cooperation.

BRYCK Co-Founder & CEO Christian Lüdtke commented:

"Aligned with the vision of the three universities and the RAG-Stiftung, we aim to facilitate more successful startups in the Ruhr region. BRYCK brings its startup expertise into this new partnership to inspire students for entrepreneurial thinking. Furthermore, we provide students with access to our expanding network including startups, investors, and corporates.”

As part of the cooperation BRYCK will collaborate with the universities to empower students and researchers to bring their science-based innovations to the market more quickly and easily.

Therefore, BRYCK enables students with access to its startup programs, networking events & community of entrepreneurs & innovators. As one of the first steps of the cooperation, BRYCK and the UA Ruhr agreed to share information on startup projects on an ongoing basis and plan a joint annual startup event.
